Market Matters, a sub-brand of KW First Atlanta, is a reinvigorated quarterly stats event that removed the stigma that stats are boring and humdrum. These quarterly gatherings were conceived as a bold departure from the conventional data-sharing sessions that were previously a three-hour snorefest. The central challenge lay in the transformation of what was once a halfday affair into a dynamic, informative, and eagerly awaited experience.

The strategy involved creating a memorable event name, compelling brand messaging, and fresh visual identity to support, shaping the experience of a revitalized stats event. From there, each quarter, as a team we would define the story, through a captivating presentation that was robust, yet targeted and hyper-engaging based on the stats and data that needed to be communicated to our audience’s clients. The results were impressive: attendance grew from under 40 to over 250 and growing, making Market Matters a highly anticipated event. This transformation not only was beneficial for real estate agents but also for KW First Atlanta to be seen as an industry leader, attracting top talent to join the brokerage and solidifying their reputation as innovators.

To start, we beta-tested the idea of a revamped stats event at our offices. It started out with under 50 attendees and quickly grew to over 100 and our main training room was overflowing. We knew we needed to secure an event space that allowed for the growth that was in demand.

We secured Roswell Historic Hall for 2023, providing a destination-centric event that met the needs of the existing headcount and allowed for continued growth while maintaining consistency from quarter to quarter.
